A - Main Surfing Menu
The main surfing sub menu is in the members area and is the Surfing menu.
This sub menu brings together the various clicksmatrix surfbars. These surfbars enable members to earn or win money as well as credits. The surfing menu leads to surfbars, some directly off the menu, others leading to one after an introduction page.
The Search menu item leads to a different directory and has it's own side menu, with everything one needs to do to setup search engine keywords on the site as well as surf that area featured as the top sub-menu, with the other sub menus below.

B - Timer functions.
This is part of the surfbar members must click. The next illustration explains the various parts in more detail.

C - About the click part
When the timer has completed counting, it changes to a GO symbol on Clicksmatrix. (This all varies according to whichever traffic exchange you are surfing) Once the timer has completed you must click the number indicated by the message there each time. The text next to the timer let's you know which one to click. (Don't worry if you try to click the timer or the number in the text message nothing will happen:). One added feature that some of the surfbars have, some of the time are double green boxes. When you click on the number you must ensure that the tip of the mouse arrow is within these boxes. (We are working on a red one as well at present, so some of the numbers have no surround yet)

D - Surfbar Banner Popup
If you place your mouse over a banner up pops a message asking you to support our sponsors. (That is you !). Clicking the banner brings up a new window, so you do not have to worry you will lose the site.

E - Viewing Stats whilst surfing
You can view surfing stats at any time by placing your mouse over a hot spot area called STATS. This will show you the number of sites you have viewed today and the credits earned.
It also shows how many credits and banners in your account. Take a look at the message now. After clicking it changes to let you know how many credits earned this visit.
Below this is a link that says how many of these credits are AUTO-ASSIGNED. Clicking this link takes you directly to the assign credits area. Not a lot of people know this, as the link is not obviously a link ! This link is important if you don't want to use credits as you surf them. Free members must assign a minimum of 75% to keep sites in rotation, wheras paid members assign 40%.
Another useful link to keep an eye on is the text that says "Credits = ** Imps". (** is the number set that day, which sometimes changes). Clicking this link will take you to the banner area. Scroll down to the bottom (This is mainly dealt with in another tutorial, but I wanted you to know now, as it can take a while to find if you have a number of banners) of the main banner admin page and you will see a link (If you have any banners - it is simply not there otherwise - that's often how the site works) to CONVERT credits into banner impressions. Another useful tip is that you can move credits between banners, and switch them on and off.
You will also notice that the green bar is starting to fill up.

F -Extras on the surfbar
Below we have highlighted other links and info you will find on the surfbar.
Sometimes, on some surfbars, you will be asked to key in a security number whilst surfing, to win mystery credits. A screen will appear with the code on for that. These must be claimed or you are automatically logged out. (They can only be claimed once for each time they appear).
The number of credits you earn and mystery prizes you can win depend on your level of membership, the higher your membership level, the more the multiplier effect.
On some surfbars, every 25 sites, up to 100 sites surfed, there is a bonus game. Click the number shown on the surfbar to automatically enter the game. These extra bonus games give you a chance to win up to 10,000 credits.
